1:16. ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਰਥ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਰੁਪਏ ਨੂੰ ਅਰ ਇੱਕ ਘੋੜਾ ਡੂਢ ਸੌ ਰੁਪਏ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਰ ਏਸੇ ਤਰਾਂ ਹਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਅਰ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ।।

1:16. Solomon acquired his horses from Egypt and from Que; the king's traders purchased them from Que.

1:16. Solomon's horses were imported from Egypt and from Cilicia; the king's traders acquired them from Cilicia at the standard price.

1:16. And the horses which Solomon had were brought out of Egypt; the kings merchants received them in droves, each drove at a price.

1:16. And Solomon's import of horses was from Egypt and Kue, and the king's traders would buy them from Kue for a price.

1:16. And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king’s merchants received the linen yarn at a price.

1:16. And the source of the horses that [are] to Solomon [is] from Egypt and from Keva; merchants of the king from Keva take at a price,
